Many celebrities have undergone noticeable transformations during and or after their rise to stardom. Dancehall artiste Intence is said to be among the local celebrities who had a major transformation, with a change in complexion. A picture surfaced in 2020 showing a young boy who is said to be the deejay in his younger years. Jamaican Government To Pay Vybz Kartel Legal Fees, Privy Council Ordered

The Judicial Committee of the Privy Council has recommended that the Crown (Jamaican government) will have to bear the costs for legal fees incurred by the appellants, Vybz Kartel and his co-defendants, in the appeal against their 2014 murder conviction. The four appellants were successful in overturning their murder conviction last month after the Privy Council ruled that their right to a fair trial was impugned. The case was remitted back to the Court of Appeal Jamaica for hearing on June 10-14, 2024. Vybz Kartel Retrial Hearing In Appeal Court Set For June 10 2024

The Court of Appeal of Jamaica has set a date for arguments to be heard by attorneys representing Vybz Kartel and his co-accused Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell, Kahira Jones, and Andre St. John and the prosecution on whether the men should be retried for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams. Vybz Kartel, real name Adidja Palmer, and his co-accused were successful on appeal at the Privy Council last month after the court ruled that they did not receive a fair trial in 2014. The veteran deejay shared that he has a confirmed 38 kids, and that number could even be higher.
