Veteran Jamaican Dancehall and gospel reggae artiste Lieutenant Stitchie has died at age 60, following an extended period of illness after suffering a debilitating stroke in 2024. The Spanish Town native, whose given name was Cleveland “Cleve” Laing, died at a Kingston hospital on Monday, September 28, one day before what would have been his 61st birthday. News of his death came hours after concerns about his health resurfaced.
