Elaine Thompson Wins 100m Finals Over Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (VIDEO)
The title of the fastest woman in the world now belongs to Jamaican sprinter Elaine Thompson who won the Olympic finals with a time of 10.71 over Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce who placed third.
American sprinter Tori Bowie took the silver medal over Fraser-Pryce who was forced to settle with a bronze medal, much to the disappointment of many who predicted her to be winner.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce’s attempt to gain a third straight Olympic title, was shattered by her fellow teammate, but she was quick to congratulate Elaine on an impressive run and for taking home the gold for their country, Jamaica.
