Aidonia Touch Down On U.S. Soil For First Time Since Getting Visa
Aidonia is back on U.S. soil for the first time since getting back his work visa.
The dancehall hitmaker, whose real name is Sheldon Lawrence, was granted a visa last month after going six years of being unable to perform in the U.S.
The 4th Gena head is currently in the tri-state area doing a promotional tour ahead of his first big performance in the U.S. at Amazura Nightclub in New York City on July 23.
This means that there will be no Aidonia in action at this year’s Reggae Sumfest dancehall night on July 22.
Donia has also been keeping himself busy with some philanthropic work by granting six students Maxfield Park Primary School a full scholarship through his 1Voice Foundation.
“I got a whole lot of help growing up so we have to give back now that we can,” Aidonia said. “We just trying to help the youths reach their goals.”
