Aidonia Gets US Visa After Six Years, Heading On Tour
Aidonia could be heading to the United States for his first tour in that country in years after getting back his work visa.
The dancehall star was among a slew of artists whose U.S. visa was revoked a few years ago. Several of those artists have since get their work permit reinstated including Beenie Man, Sizzla Kalonji, Elephant Man and more.
“It’s a great feeling and a blessing! Words can’t even explain how mi feel,” Aidonia said. “It’s been a sombre time for the team since the death of Doukie, but this just come like a blessing right now.”
The “Boring Gal” deejay says that he is looking forward to performing for his fans in the U.S. and promoting his new music.
“I’m leaving for Belize today for a week, and then we’ll be working to set up some promotional tours for the fans,” he said. “USA never really get fi see me fi promote all those songs, but right now, I can’t wait to get out there and see the people. I just want to be able to promote my music and perform for my fans.”
Aidonia is also gearing up for a big performance at this summer’s Reggae Sumfest.
