‘Sharon a Pregnant’ reggae singer arrested for attacking cops in Florida
Reggae singer Screwdriver has been arrested after allegedly going berserk in Margate, South Florida.
A report from the Broward Sheriff’s Office stated that the artiste, whose name is Dalton Lindo, attacked and injured a woman and police officers with a ski pole while shouting “Shoot Me! Shoot Me!”
A woman reported being hit in the neck by a man with a cane who had been following her along Winfield Boulevard.
The woman told police the man rode away on a bicycle.
Screwdriver, who is known for the hit No Mama (Sharon a Pregnant you Pregnant?) and Ganja Killer, was spotted by cops along State Road 7 in the vicinity of Southgate Boulevard a short time later and, when the cops approached and attempted to apprehend him, he reportedly threatened them with a ski pole and bellowed “Shoot Me!”
He then rode away but was caught in North Lauderdale.
Police report that he struck and attempted to stab them as he was being taken into custody.
He has been charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault, battery on a law enforcement officer, fleeing and eluding a police officer, resisting an officer with violence and possession of marijuana.
He remains in custody.
