Mavado Denies Dissing Alkaline Says They Are Still Friends

Mavado is shooting down rumors that he recently took a jab at Alkaline. The rumors have been spreading online since last week that a recent post on Instagram from the Gully Gad was directed towards Alkaline.

“Some boy a get bright,” Mavado wrote on his official IG. Some folks ran with the statement claiming that he was referring to the “Champion Boy” deejay.

“Why would Vado diss Alka when they have been friends for a while now,” a rep for the singjay told Urban Islandz.

“Again this is just random people trying to start some bad vibes between two of the baddest artists in dancehall right now,” Mavado’s rep told us.

Mavado and Alkaline have proclaimed their friendship since last year and has even performed on numerous shows together overseas.
