Beenie Man Explains Beef With Shabba Ranks At Concert
Shabba Ranks and Beenie Man are still beefing. The feud between the two dancehall heavy wights spill over into a concert last weekend in Trinidad where they were both scheduled to perform.
Shabba reportedly told the promoter of the event that Beenie Man could not perform. The Doc was added to the roster of the “Unplugged” concert after Barrington Levy fell ill a few weeks ago with Dengue Fever.
But seems Shabba Ranks remembered those old comments made about him by Beenie Man back in 2012 and went ham on the promoter to take the dancehall king off the stage.
In the end Beenie did not performed but his manager is saying that the whole melee is over the band Ruff Cut who was booked by Shabba.
“He was to perform with Ruff Kutt, but when we got there, there were issues,” Blue said. “It turned out that Shabba Ranks was the one who hired them and therefore he could not work with them. He (Beenie Man) did not perform, but was not barred from performing.”
But we all know that is some BS because Shabba and Beenie Man have been beefing since 2012 when the “Rum and Redbull” deejay says that he don’t care for Shabba.
“Listen I don’t business with Shabba Ranks, I don’t business with Popcaan, and I don’t business with Tommy Lee, it’s all about me,” he said during an interview.
