Dancehall Artiste Singer Jay out of hospital

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Dancehall artiste Singer Jay is recuperating at home after being discharged from the hospital early Sunday morning.

According to Lorna James, Singer Jay’s mother, the entertainer was rushed to a Corporate Area hospital on Saturday night after complaining of severe stomach pains.

“He underwent a series of test and was treated for gastroenteritis. Even though he is still in pain, he is doing much better. He is home resting,” she told OBSERVER ONLINE.

As news of the singer’s illness circulated on social media sites, dozens of well wishers took the time out to wish him a speedy recovery.

Singer Jay, whose given name is Omar Lattibeaudiere, is best known for songs like Stay Away, Wave Your Hand featuring Elephant Man, Without You, Buss Your, and Always Sing.
