Usain Bolt Not Named on List of Over 800 Suspicious Athletes!

Jamaican sprint star Usain Bolt has been excluded from a list of more than 800 athletes who it is alleged that between 2001 and 2012 returned blood tests described by experts as “highly suggestive of doping or at the very least abnormal”, according to the BBC.

Fresh allegations have emerged indicating that one in seven of the 5,000 athletes tested over the period returned results that experts considered “highly suggestive of doping or at the very least abnormal”.

The story was broken by German broadcasters ARD/WDR and is to be the subject of a documentary.

According to the findings, a third of medals (146, including 55 golds) in endurance events at the Olympics and World Championships between 2001 and 2012 were won by athletes who have recorded suspicious tests. It is claimed that none of these athletes have been stripped of their medals.

The World Anti-Doping Agency has reacted with alarm to the allegations.

It’s not clear whether any other Jamaican has been named in the allegations.
