Gully Bop claims he stole light for community members

Recording star Gully Bop has dismissed reports that stardom has led him to become disprespectful to residents of Grants Pen, the St Andrew community from where he hails.

While expressing his love for Grants Pen, the deejay noted that he has given a lot to the community over the years. Among the ‘deeds’, in his estimation, he claimed that he stole light for community members in the past.

“A lie that. The man who wrote that about me in the paper, remember he doesn’t live in Grants Pen, he’s not from Grants Pen,” Gull Bop told Loop News, adding “Him never know mi used to tief light give unnu in Grants Pen… When (Jamaica) Public Service come, me have to draw down the light for unnu.”
