Cops, civilians charged with murder of entertainer – “Kentucky Kid”
Three police officers and two civilians accused of the controversial killing of Robert Hill, popularly known as “Kentucky Kid” have been charged.
They were charged on Monday morning.
A bail hearing is set for 2 pm in the Home Circuit Court.
Last month, a Coroner’s jury ruled that Special Corporal Uriel Anderson, Constable Gary Thomas and Special Constable Norval Warren be charged with murder.
The jury decided that civilians, Marvia Morgan and Donovan Brown, should also be charged.
Hill, an entertainer, was killed at his home on December 9, 2009.
The police claimed he was killed in a shoot-out when they went in search of him.
Before his death, Hill expressed fear for his life and made several complaints to a number of bodies, including the Police Public Complaints Authority concerning incidents between himself and the police.
