Vybz Kartel Conspiracy Trial Set For October 27

Vybz Kartel and his protege Gaza Slim will have to wait until October to know their fate.

The embattled dancehall star, real name Adidja Palmer, and Slim, real name Vanessa Saddler, are both charge with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice. Another man name Pim Pim, real name Andre Henry, was also charged.

The three appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court on Thursday after the trial was postponed when they appeared in court on Monday.

A judge also set a mention date for August 29.

Vybz Kartel is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams. He will be eligible for parole in 35 years.

The “Dancehall Hero” deejay is appealing the conviction.
