Morgan Heritage Releases First New Song Since Peetah Morgan’s Passing

Grammy Award-winning Reggae group Morgan Heritage has entered a new chapter with the release of its latest single, ‘Come Feel The Love’, the band’s first recorded song since the passing of founding member Peetah Morgan.

Released on July 10 through Ghetto Youths International, the track was written and produced by nine-time Grammy Award winner Stephen Marley. The collaboration brings together two of Jamaica’s most respected reggae families while celebrating the island’s culture, people and natural beauty.

Led by the voices of Gramps Morgan and Mojo Morgan, ‘Come Feel The Love’ highlights well-known Jamaican landmarks and symbols, including Negril, Lovers’ Leap, the lignum vitae and soursop trees. Through its lyrics, the song presents Jamaica as more than a destination, focusing on the country’s sense of community, music and identity.

The accompanying music video was directed by Fernando Hevia and produced by Filmaica. Shot entirely across Jamaica, the visual features scenes from Negril and Lovers’ Leap in St Elizabeth, locations referenced throughout the song, while showcasing several of the island’s landscapes and cultural sites.

For Morgan Heritage, the release represents an emotional moment following the loss of Peetah Morgan. The group described the single as the beginning of its next phase while continuing the musical legacy established over decades.

“Jamaica has given us so much, our identity, our music, our culture, and our purpose,” said Gramps Morgan. “This song celebrates everything we love about home and invites the world to experience the same warmth and inspiration that continues to shape who we are.”

Mojo Morgan added that Reggae has always united people across generations and cultures, saying the new single reflects the love and positive spirit visitors experience when they come to Jamaica.

‘Come Feel The Love’ is now available on all major digital streaming platforms, continuing Morgan Heritage’s long-standing message of unity, cultural pride and reggae music.
