Jah Cure Responds to Vybz Kartel in New Statement from Behind Bars
Tuesday morning, iconic Reggae singer Jah Cure made his first post on Instagram since 2025, with his previous post being about six months ago in October 2024 when he celebrated his last birthday, dubbing the occasion, the best birthday one could have behind bars.
For his new post, he shared a video clip of Vybz Kartel singing to multiple of his songs and shouting him praises for his singing abilities. Kartel did not only sing his songs, but he also called for the 46-year-old to be freed from prison.
The original video was actually posted by Vybz Kartel on Monday to his Instagram stories. The post from Kartel did not come as a surprise as he outlined in a recent interview that Jah Cure is his favourite Reggae singer.
“Free the artiste… Baddest reggae singer alive… free him, one Jah Cure,” stated Vybz Kartel in the new video clip.
Hours later, Jah Cure made sure a post was shared to his Insatgram in which he acknowleged the ‘Worl’Boss’. Cure whose real name is Siccature Alcock stated, “Better a diamond with a flaw, then a pebble without. Real recognize Real, even the world boss knows.
He continued, “The best is yet to come. Thank you brother @vybzkartel for appreciating good music.”
