Jamaican Olympican Kishane Thompson and Tia Clayton Open Season with 60m PB Wins
23-year-old Jamaican Olympic silver medallist KIshane Thompson kicked off his 2025 season on Saturday, clocking an impressive 6.48s over 60m into a -2.1 headwind, setting a new personal best(PB).
The race was run at the Central Hurdles, Relays & Field Events Meet which took place at the GC Foster College in St. Catherine.

The local event also saw fellow Jamaican Olympian Tia Clayton clocking a new personal best of 7.14 also over the 60m distance.
While Tia did not have an impressive start as Kishane, she managed to show her class by easing past multiple of her competitors to finish first.
