Vybz Kartel Shares Another Photo From Behind Bars, Says “The Comet is Coming” – See Photo
Vybz Kartel has dropped a new photo on his Instagram account, in a white pair of Air Force 1 as he poses in black pants and shirt. The dancehall star, who has been incarcerated for over 11 years, has shared another picture of himself, showing fans his current, fashionable appearance behind bars. The deejay is seemingly either counting down the days of his forthcoming The Appellant EP or his final appeal before the UK Privy Council. The EP, part one of his Exiled Pharaoh series, is slated to be released in December. The title of his upcoming mini album was influenced by his final appeal, which he and his lawyer Isat Buchanan feel will result in his freedom.
Buchanan had told Lisa Evers on Fox 5 NY that he is “very happy and optimistic about being before the Privy Council” because it is “the final court, and justice is for all.” Kartel, who also goes by Teacha, has apparently hinted that his freedom is coming in his latest post, which shows him posing in a long-sleeved black shirt with black pants and a white pair of Air Force 1 while he stands in the corner of a room defaced with graffiti. In the caption, he wrote, “The comet is coming #worlboss #gazanation.”
The post has garnered over 99,154 likes, and fans welcomed it with compliments, praises, and chants of freedom. The White House deejay had posted another picture of himself only a day ago, wearing Polo and Desert Clarks, accompanied by a caption containing the same phrase, “#thecometiscoming.” He also stated, “Bearing justice but me a gwaan wul it. #worlboss #gazanation.” This post has since accumulated over 125,442 likes from his global fans.
