Jamaica’s female’s 4x100m which features Serena Cole, Tina Clayton, Kerrica Hill and Tia Clayton moments ago ran to an under-20 world record of 42.94 seconds to win the gold which proves to be Jamaica last Gold at the meet.
The Jamaican girls were impressive in their baton changes and found a lead of 8-9 metres while crossing the finish line. It must be noted that two of the girls are sister, twins and three members of the golden record breaking team are from Edwin Allen High.
The previous set World Under-20 Record of 43.27s was ran in Italy back in 2017.
