Flippa Mafia, also known as Flippa Moggela, is currently serving 25 years in prison for drug trafficking. Urban Islandz obtained the first photo of Flippa taken during one of his recent family visits. You can see that the dancehall deejay put on a few extra pounds and now fans are wondering what’s on the menu in prison.
Flippa Mafia, whose real name is Andrew Davis, was sentenced to 25 years in a federal prison in June 2016 for first-degree distribution of cocaine, second-degree money laundering, and second-degree conspiracy. Authorities say he was the mastermind behind an international drug ring called “Next Day Air” where he would ship drugs to buys using couriers.
Flippa’s girlfriend, Marsha Bernard, was sentenced to 21 years in prison for her role in the drug ring and his brother, Roger Davis, was sentenced to 20 years behind bars. In January last year, Flippa Mafia was charged for assaulting a prison guard in an incident that took place in prison in July 2016.
