Flippa Moggela to Return to Court in November

Flippa Moggela remains in custody in the United States as attorneys continue discussions over a possible plea agreement in the drug case against the Jamaican Dancehall entertainer.

The case involving the entertainer, whose given name is Andrew Davis, has been delayed for another 30 days after prosecutors and defence attorneys requested additional time to continue negotiations.

According to Nationwide News, the court granted the request and set November 9 as the new date for the matter to return to court.

Davis, along with James McBride, Damion Jones and Clifford Brown, was arrested and charged in May this year in connection with allegations involving cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl. The charges include possession of the drugs and intent to distribute them.

The latest delay gives both sides more time to work through the terms of a potential plea deal. No final agreement has been announced, and the case remains before the court.

Flippa Moggela has remained in custody since his arrest while the legal proceedings continue.

Prosecutors and defence lawyers are expected to use the additional period to negotiate the terms of any agreement that could be presented to the court. If the discussions result in a plea deal, the court would then have to consider and formally address the agreement.
