The 16-track project moved ahead of Masicka’s ‘Forever Reign’, which recently occupied the top spot. As of Thursday, ‘Eminence’ sits at number one, followed by ‘Forever Reign’ at number two, ‘Legend – The Best Of Bob Marley & The Wailers’ at number three and ‘Kiss Of Judas Riddim’ at number four.
‘Eminence’ is Beenie Man’s first album since ‘Simma’, which was released in September 2023. The new project was produced by Kemar McGregor and brings together Jamaican and international artistes across Dancehall, Reggae, Hip-hop and R&B.
The features on the album includes some big names, such as: Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Ashanti, T.I., Mýa, Rotimi, Lola Brooke, Etana, Elephant Man, Stefflon Don, Tifa, Vanessa Bling, Shaneil Muir, D’Yani, Kraff, Pamputtae and Stevie Face.
The album presents Beenie Man exploring different sounds while maintaining his connection to Dancehall. The Grammy Award-winning deejay has also used the project to connect with artistes from several musical backgrounds.
