Vybz Kartel Reveals Fiancée Sidem Öztürk’s Pregnancy During UK Performance

Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel confirmed that his fiancée, Sidem Öztürk, is expecting their first child together during his performance at Reggae Land UK just hours ago.

The announcement came midway through his set when the deejay invited Sidem on stage in front of thousands of fans. Kartel, dressed in a red and white shorts suit, embraced his fiancée, who wore an all-white outfit, before the pair shared a kiss as the crowd erupted in cheers.

“Kiss me baby… the fans love us so let the haters keep watching,” Kartel said before hinting that he had something to reveal.

Moments later, he told fans, “Mi ago tell unuh wah gwaan and unuh read between the line, play mi song,” before launching into his hit track ‘Come Breed Me’. During the performance, Kartel bent down and placed his ear against Sidem’s stomach, prompting loud cheers from the audience and fuelling celebrations among fans who interpreted the gesture as confirmation that the couple are expecting a baby.

The moment quickly spread across social media, with videos from the concert circulating online within minutes of the performance.

Kartel and Sidem have been together for several years, with their relationship beginning while the Dancehall artiste was serving his prison sentence. In recent months, speculation had grown after fans noticed the couple had not been seen together publicly for an extended period.

Those rumours eased over the past week when Kartel returned to the United Kingdom, where Sidem resides, and the pair made several appearances together ahead of the festival.
