Dancedhall Artiste Fambo Lashes Out at Beenie Man Again, Says he wrote ‘Sim Simma’ Etc

Dancehall artiste Future Fambo has reignited his public dispute with veteran entertainer Beenie Man, making a series of explosive allegations during a new Instagram video posted on Tuesday. The latest outburst comes a month after Fambo claimed that Beenie Man physically assaulted him, allegations that were previously denied by the veteran deejay’s camp.

In his newest upload, Fambo once again placed Beenie Man at the centre of his comments, this time alleging that he played a major role in writing some of the artiste’s biggest songs. Among the tracks mentioned were the international hit ‘Who Am I (Sim Simma)’ and their collaboration ‘Rum & RedBull’. Fambo insisted that his contributions to Beenie Man’s catalogue have not been properly recognised over the years.

The entertainer also made references to the late dancer Gerald ‘Bogle’ Levy, repeating long-standing rumours that have circulated within sections of the Dancehall community for years. During the video, Fambo suggested that Beenie Man could not intimidate him and declared that he would continue speaking out regardless of who disagreed with his position.

“Yo feel like yuh can Kill mi like how yuh kill Bogle?… Beenie man mi don’t fraid a yo come talk to mi nice enuh.. Beenie Man yuh cah kill mi like how yuh kill Bomboclaat Bogle and get weh with it, feel like nuh body fraid a yp Moses Davis.” He next stated that he will be keeping Bogle’s memorial next to Beenie man’s upcoming ‘Summer Sizzle’ show in August.

“Mi write Sim Simma, mi write rum and redbul, me write si di gyal dem man yaw yah, me write them song deh gi yo, mi write man fi have nuff gyal and gyal inna bungle, hey bwoy stop ramp wid mi and stop sing mi song them pon stage.”

He also mentioned several industry figures, including Sean Paul and Super Hype, stating that he was prepared for any fallout from his latest remarks. Producer Seanizzle was also referenced during the lengthy social media post. Super Hype responded to Fambo, via comment, stating, “POST A SONG 🎵 PROMOTE UR MUSIC 🎵 HOW DOES THIS HELP YOUR MUSIC 🎵 OR YOUR CAREER .”

Fambo maintained that he’s not attempting to damage the success of ‘Rum & RedBull’, but stressed that he’s unafraid to challenge Beenie Man publicly.

While rumours linking Beenie Man to Bogle’s 2005 killing have circulated for more than two decades, no evidence has ever been produced to support those claims, and no authority has connected the artiste to the dancer’s death. Beenie Man has not publicly responded to Fambo’s latest comments.
