“Mi literally almost tun fish”: Buju Banton’s Son Jahazeil Myrie Interview
One of Buju Banton’s sons, Jahazeil Myrie, has been sharing his spiritual journey online in recent years and over the weekend, he appeared in his most recent interview in which he talked about his father, family and the many challenges he faced in life.
As per Jahazeil Myrie, as a youngster, he did not have bad experiences, however, a lot of things changed when he became a man, highlighting that he gets both special and bad treatment because he’s the son of a musical icon. “I would say it’s bitta sweat,” he declared to Sheena Power Talk in the 51 minutes long chat.
He was asked about what type of battles he has been fighting privately, he responded by stating that he found out at the age of 15 that he has been battling generational curse and generational spirits including “spirit spouses”.
Going further to share what he has been going through, Jahazeil explained that his private area was not functioning as it should for a while, causing his relationships to fall apart and visiting several doctors did not help the situation, he highlighted that working out regularly helped to solve his problem.
Sunday night, he shared a clip from his interview that has been gaining many reactions, especially for the content said in the video clip, as per the young Myrie, he was urged at a point in his life to turn to the same genre for love, something he said he dismissed by going to church.
Detailing the extent to his spiritual woes, Jahazeil at one point in the interview stated, “Mi literally almost tun fish… because you know seh Satan a manipulate yuh mind and yuh character, but because a mi father song drag back mi memory, mi seh wait but nuh mi father sing bum bye bye.”
He went on to explain that he got up and went to church the next day after developing ideas of sleeping with another man which came from rejections from women, causing him to lose desire for women at one point.
