Dancehall Artiste Chronic law in ICE Custody

On Wednesday, news broke that Jamaican Dancehall artiste Akeeme Jermane Campbell, better known as Chronic Law was detained by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, ICE.

As per reports, the St. Thomas native was detained on Tuesday and remains in custody.

The immigration officials have not released official charges, or indicated where the entertainer is being held. However, some reports online are detailing that the artiste was caught with multiple weapons and committed other offences.

This detention news comes after his associate Radijah was arrested and released. Further reports has stated that the entertainer was arrested again and currently in detention, however this report is yet to be verified.

The mugshot below of the artiste surfaced online on Wednesday, however, it’s said to be taken back in November 2025.
