Dancehall Artiste Aidonia’s Home Raided in St Andrew, Jamaica Police Operation

On Friday, October 3, the home of veteran Dancehall star Sheldon Lawrence, popularly known as Aidonia, was searched during a major police operation in St Andrew.

The early morning raid, carried out by the St Andrew North Police at around 5 a.m., formed part of a wider crackdown targeting illegal firearms in the area.

Several properties were searched during the coordinated operation, including the entertainer’s residence. According to reports, no weapons were discovered at Aidonia’s home.

However, one person, a family member was taken into custody in connection with the investigation. No one was arrested.

Aidonia, known for hits such as Yeah YeahHot Tool, and Frsh Drop, has not yet issued a public statement regarding the incident.

The police have emphasised that the operation is part of ongoing efforts to curb gun crime in the parish, which has been a persistent concern for authorities.
