Marion Hall aka Lady Saw Booked For Reggae Sumfest
Reggae Sumfest 2023 will see a stellar lineup of entertainers, and the most recent addition announced to be a part of the lineup is dancehall-turned-gospel singer Marion Hall. Minister Hall was revealed to be one of the performers booked for July 22 in a post shared by the event organisers.
The post, featuring a poster with the singer in a black fur coat and a partially revealing top, was captioned with the words, “Unleashing the Powerhouse: Minister Marion Hall at Sumfest July 22!”
The photo on the poster became the main discussion in the comment section as some Instagram users highlighted that the minster was dressed more like Lady Saw, her former dancehall persona.
One IG user questioned, “So all Christians must come reggae sumfest too???? Mi confused😢😢.” Another wrote, “Guys Calm down,This is Minister Marion Hall not LADY SAW🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️.”
Someone also suggested that the event organisers changed the photo because it could be misleading. “Is she coming as a minister or? Because if she’s coming as a minister y’all need to use a different pic. That pic insinuates that she is coming as lady saw and not minister hall,” the person stated.
