Beenie Man To Perform In The USA, Headlines Show With Nicki Minaj

Beenie Man will be making an earlier appearance in the United States than his initial schedule in August, which is when the dancehall star is booked to perform at the ‘Let Get Fr.ee Conscious Carnival’.

The 48-year-old artiste’s trip to the U.S has now moved up with the confirmation that he will be headlining the Essence Festival of Culture alongside iconic rapper Nicki Minaj in New Orleans, Louisana. The festival is dated July 1 at the Caesars Superdome, and more entertainers, including Kes The Band, Machel Montano, and Mikey Guyton will be present.

Following the festival, Beenie Man will be performing at The ‘Let Get Fr.ee Conscious Carnival’, which is slated for August 20 and August 21 at the Flushing Meadows Corona Park in New York. The ‘Let Get Fr.ee Conscious Carnival’ has confirmed over 46 entertainers such as Wizkid, Missy Elliott, Anderson Paak and Jhené Aiko.

After not travelling to the US to perform at a major show for many years, news broke months ago that his work permit for the North American country was officially reinstated, however, seemingly there was no rush from the doctor to make the trip despite wanting to do so far several years.

Currently, Beenie Man is adding the final details to his album SIMMA, which will be released soon. The deejay will be performing at Reggae Sumfest 2022, which is slated for July 18 to July 23 at Catherine Hall, Montego Bay
