Male Murder Suspect Dressed as Female in Guyana
A Guyanese man who was a suspect in a murder case has been held by the Guyana police.
Arrested is Shawn Bobb a labourer of the East LA Penitence, squatting area. He was wanted in connection with the stabbing death of Isaiah Edwards a 19 -year- old male.
In an article released by The Jamaica Observer, and according to a statement issued by the Guyanese police, it is reported that on January 26th there was an altercation between Edwards and Bobb’s mother during which, Bobb intervened and stabbed Edwards who later died.
Following a bulletin issued by the police last Friday, Bobb was detained when the lawmen got a tip over the weekend as to his whereabouts and went to a house in Mahaica, a village located in Region 4 of Demerara.
It is reported that when officers tried to apprehend Bob he jumped through a glass window. The police went on to reveal that in an effort to elude the law officials the suspect was found fully clad in women’s clothing complete with a wig and makeup.
He was subsequently arrested and taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation for medical attention.
He is being held under police guard.
