
Jamaica 1, 2 and 3 in Women’s 100m Final in Tokyo – (VIDEO)
Elaine Thompson-Herah who was the favourite and the defending Olympic 100m and 200m champion did not disappoint as she ran to an Olympic record of 10.61sec. It was a clean sweep for the Jamaican as Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Sherika Jackson finished the race in second and third place, respectively.
Shelly-Ann had a great start but Thompson-Herah powered pass her about mid way the race while Sherika made sure that she secured to 3rd spot by trailling her fellow Jamaican teammates every step of the way.
