Chronixx sold out in Kingston, Jamaica last night (VIDEO)

Last night opening show in the Jamaican leg of the Caribbean tour of reggae artiste Chronixx has been sold out.

The organising team of the event set for the Mas Camp in St Andrew reports that no tickets will be available at the gate, while there are only limited tickets left for the Montego Bay leg set for tomorrow at Pier 1.

According to event producer Jerome Hamilton, the support for the concerts have been overwhelming.

“We are just taken by the level of support for the artiste and these two shows. We just want the public to be aware that the concert in Kingston is sold out and no tickets will be available for sale at the event. There are still a few tickets available for the Montego Bay event,” he told Splash.

Audiences can look forward to experience most tracks from the album, including hits such as I Can, Skankin Sweet and the children’s favourite Likes. Opening act will be newcomer Eesah, along with appearances by Protoje and other musicians.

According to Chronixx’s manager, Brendon “Daddy Barnes” Sharpe, the Chronology Tour is proving to be a sustainable project.

“This tour has shown me that reggae music is indeed a world-dominating force, not just in Europe and America and Asia and the Pacific where we have been countless times, but in the Caribbean our own people embrace this music. There’s at least five dancehall and reggae shows across the Caribbean islands each week for the entire year. So it’s really a sustainable market,” he shared.
