BREAKING NEWS: St Ann Businessman shot dead, Caught live on video (MUST WATCH)

A businessman was shot dead on Wednesday morning in St. Ann.

Alfred Whorms, 66, had just opened his hardware store in Runaway Bay, when he was accosted by gunmen and shot in the face.

His body was discovered by an employee.

Mr. Whorms had been involved in a court battle following the shooting of a farmer in Alexandria in April 2011.

He shot and killed 42-year-old Alton Thompson during an altercation at his Grants Mountain property.

The shooting sparked two days of riots, during which police and fire units were damaged.
