Popcaan Not Deported From Antigua, Authorities Says He Is Welcome To Return
Popcaan was not deported from Antigua despite being arrested and slapped with charges of battery.
Rumors started swelling last week claiming that the dancehall hitmaker was deported from the Caribbean island following his well publicized arrest following an onstage incident with a police officer.
Antiguan authorities have dismissed the rumors telling us that Popcaan is welcome to return to the island anytime.
“It was a simple battery and nothing serious for us to deport the artist so he is always welcome back to Antigua,” authorities said.
Popcaan is currently back in Jamaica working on some new music and might even address the incident in an upcoming song.
The “Unruly Boss” deejay also has a few songs bubbling on dancehall airwaves including two newly released singles “Preserve My Life” and “Warrior.”
