Reggae Singer Sanchez to release 36th album, tour Caribbean and Canada

With a new album due for release on April 25, lovers rock star Sanchez kicks off a Caribbean and Canadian tour in early May.

Beware, which the singer says is his 36th album, is produced by Lloyd ‘John John’ James.

The tour starts May 2 in St Lucia, followed by dates in French Guyana,  St Vincent, Bahamas, Cayman, Trinidad and Tobago and Dominica.

Sanchez spends June in Canada where his first show is in Calgary on the 10th. He also has shows in Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa and Toronto.

The final Canadian gig is the annual Jamaica Day on June 30 in Toronto at Toronto Park.

Beware is Sanchez’ first album in five years. His previous, Love You More, was distributed by VP Records.

Sanchez first made reggae charts in 1987 with a cover of Jermaine Jackson’s Loneliness. It was the start of a remarkable run of hit songs that include I Can’t Wait, Never Dis Di Man and One In A Million.
