Four baptized at Nesbeth’s late wife funeral
The New Life Assembly of God Church in St Andrew stirred the baptismal waters with four new believers in Christ at the funeral service for Ann-Marie Elliot, the late wife of reggae singer Nesbeth, on Saturday.
Towards the end of the thanksgiving service for Elliot, who died of undisclosed complications at the age of 32, the pastor extended an invitation to attendees to dedicate their lives to serving the Lord.
Three females and a male accepted the offer. As the pastor dipped each in the baptismal bath, audience members rejoiced.
“Hallelujah! Praise God,” said one observer during the ceremony.
