Reggae Artiste Assassin Talks Working With Kendrick Lamar and New Album “Theory Of Reggaetivity” (VIDEO)
Assassin, aka Agent Sasco, is one of the top dancehall artists in the game for several years now. The deejay has been seeing a massive growth in his career over the last year thanks to some international collaborations with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West and more.
Dancehall fans were even more proud of Sasco when Kendrick Lamar performed the smash hit single “Blacker The Berry” at the 2016 Grammy’s and included a portion of Assassin’s part into the controversial performance.
Assassin spoke with Winford Williams of Onstage last week where he opened up about the collaboration.
“After the Kanye West feature of course you know your profile lift a little now and people have them ears out and thing,” Sasco said. “When the producer for the record Boi-1da was looking for some Jamaican flavor he was talking to Kardinal Official who is also another big rapper… and Kardinal was like Assassin he can do something with this. So if someone look and say who is that they can look on that Kanye record.”
Agent Sasco also spoke about his new album “Theory Of Reggaetivity.”
