Sterling marked his 21st birthday by achieving his dream of scoring in the Champions League.

The Jamaica-born celebrated his birthday with a quickfire double to send Manchester City through to the Champions League last 16 as group winners.

The England international struck twice in the space of two minutes as City came from behind to beat Borussia Monchengladbach 4-2 at the Etihad Stadium.

Sterling took to Instagram to share his birthday cake with his fans.

But that’s not where it ended, sources are now telling us that Raheem Sterling copped some new footwear, custom shoes with the late Dancehall artiste J Capri’s name on it.

The shoes rocked the writing “J Capri 4-12-2015”

J Capri died on Friday December 4, 2015, the singer succumbed to her injuries at the University Hospital Of The West Indies (UHWI) in St. Andrew, after being involved in a caraccident along Barbican Road in Kingston at around 12:30 on November 23.

J Capri was hospitalised for two weeks, she was placed in a coma shortly as family members appealed to the dancehall community and members of the public to donate blood on behalf of the dancehall rising star.

Doctors treating the young star had also predicted her full recovery, J Capri would have celebrated her 24th birthday on December 24.
