Dancehall Artiste Alkaline on TVJ Schools’ Challenge Quiz as a child

It’s no secret that dancehall phenomenon and Vendetta Squad leader Alkaline is a brilliant young man.

Fans can hear how educated he is by the way he constructs his lyrics using various writing techniques that leaves his listeners guessing and forced to replay several times just to comprehend.

His brilliance was known to his family and teachers which resulted in him becoming a member of the Junior School Challenge Quiz team which airs on Television Jamaica.

We obtained a throwback footage of the “Champion Boy” introducing himself as Earlon Bartley as a child, long before the fame and success.

“My name is Earlon Bartley, my hobbies are: Singing, dancing, reading and acting. In the future God’s willing i will become a doctor or a research scientist” said Bartley.
