Dancehall producer arrested in US on cocaine charges

The entertainment industry has been rocked again by news that a well-known dancehall producer, known in underground circles as ‘Rado’ and who operates the Armzhouse Records label, was nabbed in the United States by police and is being held without bail.

Rado, whose real name is Everton Minott, was wanted on several charges in Jamaica.

Loop Jamaica understands that the music producer was arrested in Miami, Florida in mid-May on cocaine trafficking, money laundering and gun related charges. Armzhouse Records is known for hit projects like the First Capital riddim, Head of State riddim and Fire Supreme riddim.

This is the second music producer held by US authorities in the past six months with well-known dancehall-reggae producer Anju Blaxx facing lottery scamming charges in a North Dakota prison.
