Sean Paul lauds ‘King of The Dancehall’ director Nick Cannon

International dancehall star Sean Paul has high praises for American television personality Nick Cannon, who is on the island directing his highly-anticipated ‘King of The Dancehall’ movie.

Sean Paul spoke to Loop News on the weekend after shooting a scene for the movie.

“Being in the ‘King of The Dancehall’ movie shoot was amazing – getting to perform “take it low” which is on my own full speed Riddim was especially cool,” Sean Paul said.

The Got 2 Luv U singer added: “I love that someone like nick cannon is taking an interest in Jamaican culture and I hope the movie does well.”

Cannon has frequented the island doing castings as well as undergoing dance training for the upcoming movie. Several artistes which span dancehall, rap and R and B, will be making cameo appearances.
