Chuck Fenda assault case dismissed

Reggae artiste Chuck Fenda and his babymother were sent to mediation when they both appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrates’ court before senior RM Lyle Armstrong on Tuesday.

The accused, Chuck Fenda, whose real name is Leshorn Whitehead was charged with assaulting his babymother.

Allegations outlined were that on March 23, 2015, at about 9:30 pm, the entertainer went to pick up his daughter in Portmore where an argument developed with his babymother. It was said that he boxed and kicked her all over her body causing swellings on her face, a cut to her neck and bruises to the knees.

The two, who were seen talking amicably before the case was called up, were sent to the mediation department and a successful agreement was made.

The case was then dismissed against Chuck Fenda.
