Jamaica on Tuesday gave the green light for the decriminalisation of ganja.

The amendment to the law will remove the possession of two ounces or less of ganja as a criminal offence and instead make it a ticketable one. This means persons caught with a small quantity of the herb will no longer be thrown behind bars.

But do Jamaicans actually know how much ‘weed’ is two ounces? Kevoy ‘Face of Loop’ Burton took to the streets of Kingston to find out. He even bumped into international reggae artiste Sean Paul, who called the amendment “a step in the right direction”, though he suggested that two ounces of the herb is “small”.
