FLORENCE HALL, (Trelawny), Jamaica – A versatile Richie Stephens thrilled the audience especially the ladies on the second night of the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival, now underway at the Trelawny stadium.

It was showmanship at its best as the crooner navigated his performance through a variety of musical genres.

He successfully sampled Ska, Reggae, Dancehall, Gospel and R&B.

Among the highlights of his performance was his tribute to Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown and John Holt, all fallen reggae warriors.

During this set, Stephens delivered the Cool Ruler’s (Isaacs), ‘Love is Overdue’, the Crown Prince’s Brown), ‘Little Green Apples’ and John Holt’s, ‘Carpenter’

He was the first performer of the night to receive as encore, during which he moved through ‘Hall of Fame’ and ‘Live Your Life’
