“We Have Been Watching ZJ Wah Wa & Others For over 2 Years” – Says Police (Video)

In a news video clip aired on Jamaican television earlier this week the Police say they have been watching popular radio jock ZJ Wah Wa and others alleged involved in the infamous lottery scam for over 2 years. The scam involved the perpetrators luring unsuspecting victims to the island’s shores and defrauding them large sums of cash through promises of lottery winnings.

According to Detective Corporal Kevin Watson, Liason Officer for the Lottery Scam Task Force (LSTF) Deon-Ville O’Hara aka ZJ Wah Wa along with 25 other persons were nabbed in a series of operations carried out in part with their international partners. Of the 26 persons indicted 16 are Jamaican 10 of whom were arrested in 2012 by the LSTF.
