Vybz Kartel Trial: Corrupt Juror Says “I’m Innocent”
Vybz Kartel murder trial saga continues with a corrupt juror facing prison time.
Football coach Livingston Cain says he is an innocent man after been slapped with half a dozen charges of conspiracy in Vybz Kartel murder trial.
Cain was the only juror from the 11-member panel to return a not guilty verdict in the high profile trial.
Cain and his attorney, Dian Watson, appeared in court on Friday to answer to the charges but the case was adjourned until April 24.
“We can’t reveal [what the defence] is at this time but he’s maintaining his innocence of course,” Dian Watson told journalists outside the court.
The accused juror was charged with ne count of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and five counts of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

He allegedly tried to bribe several members of the jury including the foreman with millions of dollars.
He is currently out of a $750,000 bail.
Vybz Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Andre St John, and Kahira Jones were all convicted by a 10:1 jury on March 13 for the 2011 murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.
The convicted men are facing a possible life sentence.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for this Thursday, April 3.
