Bob Marley’s son Ky-Mani Marley admits to selling drugs (VIDEO)

The Marley’s are a family name that is world widely known and very much loved by everyone. One of the younger Marley sons, Ky-Mani Marley, sat down with the Breakfast Club 105.1 crew and spoke a little about his family and his beginnings.

Marley mentioned that he was brought up in a humble 2 bedroom wooden abode by his mother, in the rural area of Falmouth, Trelawny. He moved to Miami at 8 years old when his grandmother, who migrated, filed for him and his mother. He stated that his arrival in Miami was nothing like he thought, as he ended up living in a 2 bedroom house with nine (9) people and across the road from a crack house.

It was in this neighborhood that he was exposed to the drug environment and for a shorttime was absorbed into the surrounding lifestyle. In his 2005 book, Dear Dad, Ky-Mani spoke about growing up in harsh environments, from Jamaica to Miami and how selling drugs affected his life. In the interview he made it clear how grateful he is to not have been arrested for selling drugs as this would have negatively impacted his life.. This book also created quite a stir with his brothers and sisters and other members of the Marley family.

Marley also spoke about his musical, athletic, and acting journeys. He is set to release another Album this month.
