Devon House, Jamaica among 30 best ice cream parlours in the world

Ice cream was once an exotic treat reserved for society’s elite.

The origins of this cold and creamy dessert go as far back as the second century BC!

Not quite so far back, in 2011 the National Geographic ranked Devon House among the top 10 places in the world to grab some amazing ice cream.

And guess what? Devon House is still hanging out with the globe’s ice cream big boys.

The super popular spot was recently ranked as one of the world’s 30 Best Ice Cream Parlours by The Daily Meal.

Surely the huge crowd packing into the tiny  I-Scream shop on a weekend is proof of how awesome it is.

When we polled people here in the office about their favourite flavour the one that came up time and time again was the famous Devon Stout.
