Teenage Sensation Koffee Now Has The Most Popular Reggae/Dancehall Song (Picture and Video)

Koffee currently has the most popular reggae/dancehall song on the planet.

The 19-year-old singing sensation dropped the video for her breakout hit “Toast” in November last year, and already she cracked 15 million views on YouTube and millions of streams across the major streaming platforms, Spotify and Apple Music. Her new single “Throne is also gaining a lot of traction with over a million views in one month. The teenage sensation got the entire industry on alert that she isn’t here to play games and we’re tuning in to her brand of reggae.

“Blessings all pon mi life and / Mi thank God for di journey di earnings a jus fi di plus (yeah) / Gratitude is a must (yeah) / Mi see blessings fall by mi right hand / Buss a toast fi di friends weh tek off heavy load / One time did sit down in a class and we bored den Oli say do road and mi gwan wid di road,” she sings.

Koffee was born and grew up in Spanish where she started singing and writing music from a young age. She spoke about getting inspirations from reggae singer Protoje who is currently one of the leading acts pushing roots reggae globally.

Protoje and Chronixx also appeared in her music video “Toast” giving her even more relevance in the crowded Jamaican music scene. Koffee also has some other singles burning up the airwaves like “Burning,” “Buss Bars (Freestyle),” “Raggamuffin,” and “Legend.”

Koffee is currently working on her debut EP Raptured, due sometime this year.
